Hannah Ignacio is a Filipina-American filmmaker and actor from the suburbs of Chicago, now based in Los Angeles. From the age of seven, crafting stop-motion animations and heartfelt skits was a safe space for her, often exploring her adolescent fears and joys. This early passion later evolved into narrative filmmaking during high school and film school, where her work focused on themes of mental health, grief, family, and identity.
She co-directed and starred in PING. PONG., a short film showcased at The Chicago International Film Festival. She has earned awards at CineYouth Film Festival, Artlist Creative Fest, and Tribeca Flashpoint. She has collaborated with brands such as Artlist & Vox Media, and was nominated at DePaul University's Premiere Film Festival as Best Director, held at the iconic Music Box Theater.
With a hands-on approach, strong visual direction, and resourceful storytelling, Hannah is driven to creating visually immersive, emotional, and engaging stories that authentically represent women and POC experiences.
